Woven ("we," "us," or "our") cares about keeping your information private. This Privacy Policy explains, in simple terms, what happens with any information when you use our mobile app (the "App").

Data Collection and Use

Woven uses Apple's payment system for in-app purchases and subscriptions. Payment details are handled by Apple and are not collected or stored by us.

The App includes AI-generated story content. You can type in your own ideas, prompts, or custom details, and the App uses an AI service to turn those into stories for you.

Story inputs are processed temporarily by our servers only for the time needed to generate the story and are discarded immediately after the generation process is complete. Stories themselves are saved only on your device and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. Aside from the transient processing described above, we do not collect, store, or share personal data or story content at any time.

Acceptable Use

Please use the App and the stories it generates in a responsible and respectful way. You agree not to use the App to create or share anything illegal, harmful, abusive, or that violates someone else's rights.

Limitation of Liability

Because Woven uses AI to generate stories based on your inputs, we cannot promise that every story will be accurate, appropriate for every situation, or free from mistakes. You are responsible for how you choose to use the stories.

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages that result from using or being unable to use the App, or from relying on any AI-generated content.

Third-Party Services

We use certain third-party services to help the App work smoothly, including things like subscriptions, crash reporting, and anonymous analytics. These services process only non-identifying technical information and do not receive your story content or personal details from us.

Our AI service providers (large language model services) receive your story inputs only so they can generate the stories you request. This information is not stored or retained by Woven and is handled by the AI provider only as necessary to deliver the generated content.

Data Security

Although we do not store story content or personal data, we still use industry-standard security measures to protect the App and its underlying systems and to help prevent unauthorized access or misuse.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will show the updated date at the top of this page inside the App. By continuing to use the App after any changes take effect, you agree to the updated Privacy Policy.
