Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Woven ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.
License
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal use. This license is for access to the App itself.
Use of AI-Generated Content
The App creates stories based on the ideas, prompts, or custom details you provide. These stories are generated by an AI service and may not always be accurate, appropriate in every context, or free of errors. You understand that you are responsible for how you choose to use any generated story content.
You agree not to use the App or its generated content in ways that are illegal, harmful, abusive, or that infringe on the rights of others.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App and any story content it generates is appropriate for your intended audience and context. You are also responsible for any activity that occurs on your device while using the App.
Content Storage Responsibility
Stories created in the App are stored only on your device. You are responsible for managing, backing up, or exporting story files as needed. We are not responsible for lost, deleted, or inaccessible content.
Service Availability
The App and its features may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or factors outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the App.
AI Output Behavior
AI-generated stories may produce unexpected, imperfect, or unintended results. By using the App, you acknowledge that such variations are a natural part of AI-generated content and accept responsibility for reviewing and using the content appropriately.
Right to Modify or Discontinue the App
We may add, modify, or remove features, or discontinue the App entirely, at any time without prior notice. We are not obligated to maintain or support any specific functionality.
Third-Party Dependencies
Some features of the App rely on third-party services, including AI model providers and platform services. If these services experience issues, change their functionality, or discontinue support, related features in the App may be affected. We are not responsible for such impacts.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms of Use.
Eligibility
By using the App, you confirm that you are legally permitted to do so under the laws of your region.
Subscriptions and Purchases
The App may offer subscriptions or other in-app purchases that are processed through Apple’s payment system. Payment and billing details are managed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.
Prohibited Activities
You agree that you will not:
Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages that may result from your use of, or inability to use, the App or any AI-generated content.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Use or for any other reason.
Changes to Terms
We may update or modify these Terms of Use from time to time. Any updates will be posted within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
